It is amazing how fast kids can learn to do (or not do) something. We have been working on not throwing food on the ground while eating. Sophia will often begin to throw something on the floor and look me straight in the eye while she is doing so. I'll ask her to put it in her mouth and when she does, I make a really big deal out of it. Sophia responds really well to positive reinforcement and has started clapping for herself every time she takes a bite of food.

I wish my kids responded more to positive reinforcement...if Taryn could talk I believe her exact words would be, "Cut the act, mom. I wasn't born yesterday!" :)
