Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese today. The girls had a great time. Chucky snuck up behind Sophia and when she turned around and saw a giant mouse she ran as fast as she could across the establishment. When we were driving home, I asked Sophia what she thought of the place and she said, "There was some silly stuff there."

All Smiles

Here are some videos of Livvy smiling. Sophia loves to make her smile and I can't wait to hear Olivia laugh at her big sister. There is a special surprise, not in a good way, at the end of the second video.

Mission Trails Fair

This Saturday morning we went to Missions Trails State Park and hung out. They were having a nature fair and had lots of fun things for kids to do. We tried to have Sophia ride the ponies and she was really excited beforehand (see video below), but she ended up crying when we put her on the pony...maybe next year. She got a lion painted on her hand and decorated a pine cone which she called a "pineapple." It was a lot of fun and a great way to spend the morning.

Kid Logic

We were driving past our neighbor, Jack's, house and I saw someone in front of his house that I didn't recognize. As we drove past I said out loud, "I wonder what his name is?" Sophia answered, "It's probably, Jill."

Olivia: 5-6 Weeks

Olivia is still very sweet. She just has the softest little features. Unfortunately she stays up really late (11 or 12pm) and, on some nights, spends a while being really fussy. During the day she is pretty relaxed and loves to look at her big sister.

Sophia has been more than wonderful with her baby sister and thinks she is "so cute." She will climb up to Livvy when she is crying and tell her that she is OK in the sweetest voice and then come and tell me, "Mom, I told her she is OK." I can't wait until Livvy starts laughing at Sophia. She will get such a kick out of the attention from Livvy.

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day this year Mike went and got a bird house and some paints and had Sophia and I paint it together. It turned out so cute and I can't wait to hang it up. Mike knows me too well. The gift was perfect because it is cheap, takes up very little room and has meaning. What a guy!

Sweet Girls

Livvy 4-5 Weeks

Livvy is just the sweetest thing. She sleeps really well and is a happy girl. She started smiling at about 4 weeks and makes the cutest little noises. Sophia has been so great with her and always says, "I love her little toes and her little hands." She gets lots of kisses from her big sister.

Livvy 2 Weeks

I'm totally behind on updates of this kid, but here she is at 2 weeks. We just love her.

She's Sort of Too Much

We didn't get very good Easter pics, but these are better than nothing. Livvy spent her Easter sleeping.
