39 Weeks

Here I am at 39 weeks and a few days.
Sophia always says, "My turn!" whenever I take a pregnancy shot. She's way cuter than me!

23 Months

Fixing "breakfast" for her and her baby

Reading to her baby while I put my make-up on

Having a picnic with her babies

Not sure what is going on here

One of the outfits she put together

I can't believe Sophia is one month shy of being 2 years old! That sounds so big to me.

She has had a lot of energy lately. I love how eager she is to take on life and how she just goes with the flow. It is such a blessing that she loves people because it allows me to have some breaks sometimes!

Things Sophia is Loving:

Running fast

Trying to go big girl potty

Helping me clean

Playing outside

Doing yard work and finding gophers with Daddy when he comes home from work

Fruit

Silly Things Sophia Does and Says:

"I can't want to, Mom." - translation, "I don't want to, Mom."

"I can't know." - translation, "I don't know."

She is constantly asking me where certain people are even though I tell her where they are many times throughout the day

"Mom, I going shopping at Costco."

She is a running commentary of everything that is going on when we are out and about.

I had to put her in the baby car seat the other day because we had to take another kid with us in our car. As I was putting her in it she looked at me and said, "Mom, this is kinda weird." At that moment I'm pretty sure she was 15 years-old.

Things She Can Do:

Count to 20

Knows the colors: pink, purple, red, brown, black, blue, orange, yellow, green, peach

Remembers almost everyone she meets
Skip
Climb up the slides at the park
Sing lots of songs

My Little Bumble Bee

A sweet woman from church gave Sophia this bathing suit and hat and got a matching one for baby Olivia when she comes. Sophia wanted to try it on and I just had to take some pictures because she looked so cute!

Pushing

We went to the zoo yesterday and got to see a new baby hippo that was born. As it would swim in the water, the mama hippo would push it around to help it swim. We told Sophia to look and watch the mama push the hippo. She saw it and then looked at me and said, "Pushing not nice. That's mean." I had to explain that some pushing is good since it helps the baby just like I push her in the stroller so she doesn't have to get tired walking. I'm pretty sure she still doesn't get it.
