We were ordering from Starbucks and I asked Sophia if she wanted a "special water." She said, "I want Jesus." I told her that she couldn't order Jesus. I then asked if she wanted to see Jesus and she told me, "Yes, where is he?" This led to a long conversation about where Jesus is. I love that she is asking.
Today I had to vacuum and asked Sophia to take care of Baby Livvy for me. I overheard her say to her, "Don't be scared Baby Livvy, Jesus is with us!" May she always remember this truth!
As a side note, I am loving how Sophia loves Livvy. She frequently tells me, "I LIKE (there is a big emphasis on the word "like" when she says this) Baby Livvy." She always wants to eat her snacks next to Livvy and when she is playing, she wants me to put the bouncer where she is so Livvy can watch her. Sometimes I ask Sophia if I can put Livvy in her room to take a nap and she says, "Sure. You can put her in her room or my room. Whatever you want is fine." She also always goes and gives her kisses when she is crying and wants to share toys with her.

12 Weeks
Livvy turned 12 weeks yesterday. She is sleeping every 1.5-2 hours during the day with her naps ranging from 45min-1 hr. 15 minutes. She usually only wakes up once at night. Her typical bedtime is still 9:30ish. I'm trying to keep her up longer in the evening so this moves to a bit earlier. She smiles a lot and loves to watch Sophia. She is very close to rolling over and can be very vocal with her high pitched little voice. The only times she cries super hard is when she is hungry or tired.
Not to be gross, but her poops are very explosive and since she has a very flat bottom they tend to explode up her front making the clean-up extensive There just isn't much of a buffer zone, so when it comes it really comes. To be honest, I find it to be pretty amazing as to what can come out of such a little girl. She is going to kill me when she reads this at 16.
I love this one.

Padres
We went to the Padres game the other night with our friends, Lori, Kyle and Brooklyn. Sophia and Brooke had a great time playing in the sand and running all over the place. I was exhausted by the end of the night and so were they. It was free hat night and Sophia looked too cute in her Padres hat. Olivia was a champ and didn't cry until we were headed home. I'm pretty sure she was super overstimulated. My only regret is that I didn't get pics of Brooke and Sophia. Lori, you're going to have to show me some of yours.

10 Weeks-- Livvy
Livvy is a very content baby and is full of smiles and chats. At her two month appointment she was 11.2 pounds and 23.75 inches. She is a very long girl.
Nighttime is still a bit rough and we have no schedule with that. This is very unfortunate for Mommy, but it's all in a days work. During the day she pretty much is up for an hour and then sleeps for an hour.
She LOVES Sophia and Sophia loves her. I love hearing Sophia talk to Livvy. The other day I heard her say, "Hi little Cute, Cute. Hi little Chipmunk. Hi little Peanut." I just love these girls.

Star Struck
Sophia was star struck by Snow White at the princess tea party she went to. I love her wide eyed look in this video. She is upset I didn't video more of Snow White, but oh well.

Dancing With Snow White
My favorite part of this is when Sophia stops dancing to help her friend, Bella, up.

I Better Watch Myself
I overheard Sophia talking to one of her dolls the other day and this was what took place:
"You need to obey me, OK? Look at my face. Can you hear my voice? I need you to obey me. You did not listen so you are going in time out. Stay there."
Sophia walks away for a minute and then goes back to her doll.
"OK. You ready to obey me? Let's pray: Jesus help me obey parents. Amen. OK, you can come out now."
All I can say is that I had better watch myself. She hears and understands EVERYTHING!

My Little Princess
Sophia got to go with her friend, Bella, to a Snow White tea party. They were so sweet. We got some dinner beforehand and then went to the tea party. They dressed up, got their hair done, ate treats and "tea," danced and played games. Sophia had a great time and was a bit star struck by Snow White.

Imagination
Sophia has really gotten into imaginary play lately. She always "looses her keys" and asks where her "kitty" is. I love listening to her little mind at work. Yesterday she said, "Mom, there is a dinosaur in the car." I said, "Oh, what color is it?" She said, "It's purple and it's sitting in my lap." Ever since Olivia has come she has been playing by herself extremely well. I'm very thankful since my time and energy is not what it used to be.
