Flower Girl

Sophia was the flower girl in our friends', Brian and Susan's, wedding. I wasn't sure how she would do since she was running on very little sleep and getting over a bad cold. Turns out she's a social butterfly who can perk up for a party. She was perfect walking down the isle and danced the night away with one of her favorite friends and ring bearer, Collin. Whenever someone else tried to dance with him she would go and take him from them. It was so much fun watching her dance!

18 Months

What does Sophia love: praying, taking her vitamin, kissing mommy's belly, helping mommy cook and telling me, "Careful, steam, hot", Daddy coming home, sitting and reading, singing songs, jumping on the bed, when daddy hugs and kisses mommy, carrying around her giant pink bunny while saying, "Whoa, so heavy."

What have we improved on: saying "hi" to people when they talk to her, saying "No thank you" instead of, "No," obeying right away, eating meat, being patient when mommy has to do something, counting to 10, eating all the Cheerios in her bowl before asking for more

What are we working on: counting to 20, following multiple directions, telling mommy to go on green and stop on red, sharing with our friends

Cute things she does/says: "All right, bo bite," sits on the lap of her bunny and reads books, when asked what mommy does she said, "Showers, vacuums," tries really hard to put her socks and shoes on all by herself, when she is really excited to see someone she will say their name followed by, "Yay" while her arms are waving in the sky, she hides and tries to scare Daddy, she puts her dolls in a certain spot and says, "Right there, [don't] move," when asked how much we love her she says, "So much," when I ask her what Jesus says she replies one of two ways, "Jesus loves me" or "Let the little children come"

Meerkat's at the Zoo

We went to the zoo on Saturday which is something we haven't done for a while. Sophia had a great time seeing all the animals and wanted Daddy to hold her most of the time. I love those two together.

The lighting on the meerkats was especially cool and we enjoyed watching them soak up the last rays of sun.

We've been having a lot of fun with Sophia. She is learning so quickly and is just so great to be around. Here are some pics of our latest activities.
