Twins

My friend, Chelsea, came over to go for a walk with me and came dressed in the exact same outfit I was wearing. We took a picture because that's what girls do.

1st Anniversary

This past Monday we celebrated our 1st anniversary. It has been a stretching, fun and interesting first year. We are so thankful for how Jesus has used both of our strengths (and weaknesses) to sharpen one another.

The two bottom pictures are of our anniversary date...Afghan food and a stop at Mt. Soledad for a view of the ocean.

The other two pictures are what happened when I tried to make the Afghan food at home. It tasted good, but looked like baby poop. The good thing is, a year ago I would have cried and thought I was a bad wife for making something so nasty looking. Praise God for little indications of maturity!

Visit from Cate

My friend and old roommate, Cate, was down in San Diego briefly, so I went and met her in La Jolla. We enjoyed lunch, a good walk, and a yummy crocodile cookie.

Katie Ann's 2nd Birthday

So, in addition to all the wedding stuff last weekend we had Katie Ann's 2nd birthday party. It was a chilly day, but we still had fun. She was so cute and kept saying, "Fank youuuuuu" to everyone.

Wedding Weekend

This past week and weekend was full of wedding festivities. My friends, Chelsea and Pat, got married at a beautiful courtyard on Saturday. It was an awesome wedding. I was honored to be a part of it.

Kate's 28th Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and Mike did such a great job of planning it. He bought me pretty flowers, wrote me a song, planned a walk near the beach and took me out to Forever Fondue for dinner. I am blessed! The fondue place was a bit pricey, but filling and yummy! It was my kind of place...variety and lots of small portions!

Victoria's Birthday

We got to celebrate our niece, Victoria's, birthday last weekend. It was another beach event and we enjoyed a beautiful day. She just turned 1 and is a lot of fun!
