22 Months

This is Sophia's new way of "helping" me with the laundry. She has found out how warm and cozy it can be right out of the dryer.
She loves my heels and walks a little bit too well in them.

She loves her Daddy!

Sophia has entered the "silly" stage. She always says, "Mama, watch" and then proceeds to do something goofy. I love her personality and the way she says things.

Some things she says:

"What is that is?"

"Oh, yook Mama, that's awesome."

"Yook, Mama, I fancy."

Sophia talks about the new baby coming a lot and is very sweet to my tummy. She brings the baby blankets and toys to "play" with. She also tell her to come out and hugs and kisses my belly. Recently she has tried to hold her which doesn't work so well.

I am really impressed with Sophia's ability to think of others. She reminds me all the time who we need to pray for which helps Mike and I be faithful to remember people.

Sophia loves to pretend and takes very good care of her babies. She even rocks them and does the whole, "Shhh, Shhh" thing. I'm not quite sure where she got this. I truly believe she is going to be a big help when Olivia comes.

We have entered a bit of a bossy stage. I don't know if Sophia just likes to "report" what other kids are doing, but she especially does this with her 16 month old friend, Brookelyn. Whenever Brooke is doing something she isn't really supposed to do, Sophia makes sure to let someone know. Sophia also gives a play by play of things she does that aren't bad, so I'm not sure if she is trying to get someone in trouble or just practicing verbal skills. Time will tell.
Sophia LOVES to help. Every morning she brings Mike his sunglasses, keys, wallet and chapstick and tells him where he needs to put each thing. Chapstick is still either called a "cheese stick" or "papstick" but we'll get it right soon. She also remind him not to forget his lunch.
We love our girl!

I can't believe how fast time is passing!

Sophia, or Pia, as Bella calls her, is such a blessing to us and we thank God he brought the Tousley's into our lives.
