Visit to Daddy's Work
Sophia turned 6 weeks yesterday so I brought her into her Daddy's work. He got to show her off to everyone and she was so well behaved. Here are some pictures from our time there as well as a few others.

1 Month Old
Sophia is now 1 month old and doing great. She really only cries when she has a good reason and loves to be swaddled. We are loving all of her facial expressions and the way that she studies things. Her latest trick is her ability to shoot her poop 5 feet off the changing table and onto the carpet. It's pretty unbelievable and I hope she doesn't do it often.
Happy Birthday Grandma Barbie
Sophia sends out a special, "Happy Birthday Grandma Barbie" today. She slept 8 hours straight last night in order to get ready for the special day. Yeah! We love you, Grandma Barbie!

3 Weeks Old
Sophia turned 3 weeks on Wednesday. It's amazing to see the changes that happen daily. She is very active and always has to be looking at or grabbing something. It is so fun to have her finally be able to make eye contact. We're looking forward to her smiling soon!

10 Things I Didn't Know Before Becoming a Mom...
1. Babies need to eat very frequently and it doesn't matter if it fits in with my schedule or not
2. It is very hard to maneuver a shopping cart with a car seat on it and you are bound to run into things the first few times
3. I can get a lot of things done within a very small window of time
4. Grocery shopping has gone from being a relaxing time of luxury to a necessity the needs to be done as quickly as possible
5. Filling out forms at the doctors office while holding a crying baby that is spitting-up is possible
6. God seems to provide me with just enough sleep and breaks to help me enjoy being a mom
7. I now have an understanding as to why mom's get so excited to go and hang out with their friends or go on a date without their kids
8. Changing diapers is not so bad when it's your own kid
