Wow! What a year this has been. I've gone from taking care of a little vulnerable baby to chasing after a happy and busy girl!
Sophia catches on to things so quickly and I love watching her learn.
New Favorite Things This Month:
- holding her baby and saying "pat, pat"
- walking and climbing around the park
- eating wood chips at the park
- playing outside in the water
- trying to imitate sounds
- sitting in someones lap to read books
- jumping
- helping mommy dump coffee beans into the coffee grinder and pushing the button
- eating just about everything and a lot of it
- hiding things and looking at us with her hands up as if to say, "Where did it go?"
- trying to sing songs like "Old McDonald" and "Brush Your Teeth"
- going down for her nap around 10am instead of 9am
- being very gentle with kids and other people

This means I only have one month before Taryn turns one!:( And she's so advanced for her age! It does make me feel better that at least she still eats woodchips at the park...Taryn's not so far behind! :)
hmmm....dumping coffee beans and pushing the button, huh? Training her for a career at Starbucks already? LOL j/k Had a great time at the party today. She may be a year old now, but she's just as cute and adorable as ever. :)
