Skinny Jeans Mind Warp

Today I was shopping with Sophia and she had on a gray dress with white flowers as well as gray tights. She got called a boy three times. I don't know when boys started wearing tights, but I do have a theory as to why she was called a boy. With boys wearing skinny jeans these days, I think people don't know who's a boy and who's a girl. No offense to you guys that wear them, but very few men can pull them off and still look like men. Just thought I'd share. It is now off my chest and I feel better.

Neither can most women, for that matter ;-) I won't be sad when the fad passes.

I remember Kendall having the same problem with her girls. They'd be wearing pink with ribbons in their hair (what little they had) and still people would ask, "how old is he". Luckily for me and Julia, Corbin is very boyish so there's never been an issue (that I know of).

To expand on your thought, I'd say its boys, dressing like girls who are tom-boys. Kind of Victor-Victoria like.

Kate, I have the same problem when I go out with Georgia. People often refer to her as a boy, even if I have her dressed in pink! I'm looking forward to her having more hair so I can put in bows, ponytails and braids.

Taryn gets called a boy all the time...but it's probably because I'm too cheap to buy her girl clothes and thus she is forced to live life in blue, sports-themed hand-me-downs from her brother! :)

You are so funny.

And I have yet to meet a boy/man that can pull off the skinny jean look and look masculine. HA HA

You won't catch my boys in 'em, for sure.

Sophia, you are ALL girl, Honey!
