Sophia's First Days

Here are some pictures of Sophia's first 2 days. The labor went very well. We went to the hospital at 9:00pm on the 14th. I had an epidural around 2am and start pushing at 6:30 am. She was born at 6:50am on the 15th.

I only got 1.5 hours of sleep during the first 36 hours and was a bit of an emotional mess, but am feeling better. Mike let me take a good nap last night and I got about 4 hours in the night. Awesome.

We love our girl. She is doing really well. Her feeding is going well and she holds her head up periodically. We think she's going to be super strong. One of my favorite parts of her is her thighs. They are really defined and already have the little dent in the front that shows quadriceps definition.

She is beautiful!!! So happy for you guys and glad all is well. I remember that those first 48 were esp. rough because you are trying to function on NO sleep at all.... Congrats my friend. Love you!
