Tucson

The day after Christmas we went to Tucson to spend a few days with my parents. I got to see a few dear friends from high school. It was so good to reconnect with all of them. We went on a lot of hikes, swam, took naps, and ate a lot. My dad also did his typical "defrosting of the turkey in the pool" (pictures below) which still strikes me as funny.

Looks like you had fun this Christmas and afterwards. The defrost-the-Christmas-turkey-in-the-swimming-pool ritual is priceless. I love quirky family stuff like that!
