The two bottom pictures are of our anniversary date...Afghan food and a stop at Mt. Soledad for a view of the ocean.
The other two pictures are what happened when I tried to make the Afghan food at home. It tasted good, but looked like baby poop. The good thing is, a year ago I would have cried and thought I was a bad wife for making something so nasty looking. Praise God for little indications of maturity!

Congratulations on your anniversary, guys! I know it's been full of blessings & growth in both your lives. No worries about the food, Kate - men don't care what it looks like, and I thought it was guacamole until I read the text. :)
