I love ths outfit Sophia is wearing in the pics below. I've wanted her to wear it for a long time, but it isn't the most practical thing for a kid who still falls a lot. However, I had Sophia wear it around the house today just so I could enjoy it temporarily. I'm thinking about getting an outfit just like it for myself.

I've started to try and get Sophia to say, "Yes" when I ask her a question. Today I was trying on a bathing suit and asked her, "Sophia, do you like my bathing suit?" She said, "Yes." I then asked, "Do you think Mommy looks pretty in it?" She replied, "Yes!" I'm going to keep this girl around if she tells me I look good in a bathing suit!

13 Months

This picture explains it all. Sophia is a little ham who loves to try on clothes and knows when she looks silly. The past month has been my most favorite so far. She is interacting and understanding a ton and loves life.

Some new things she is doing:
-climbing all over things at the park
- going down the slide all by herself
- saying too many words to count... a few of my favorites right now are: turtle, giraffe and up
- sitting in her little princess chair and reading books
- correcting other kids when they hit her by saying, "No, no, pat, pat."
- counting to 3
- eating sand
- giving high 5's and saying, "Ya, Ya" afterwards (P.S- She always has to give high 5's to at least two people in the room, so when it's just me and her, whatever object is closest to her also gets a high 5.)
- sleeping unswaddled
-riding forward in the car
- calling herself, "Fi, Fi."
- taking 1 nap
