The Fair

We went to the Del Mar Fair on Wednesday and had a great day. Most of the day was spent walking around, eating greasy food and being over stimulated by the sights and sounds. My favorite part was the frozen cheesecake and my $5 cowboy hat!

Aquarium

Speedy Fish

We have been taking advantage of the free events here in San Diego. Last night we went to the Scripps Aquarium where the dive shop Mike goes to was putting on an event. It was a beautiful evening and we enjoyed some yummy food. I tried to take a picture of the fish (above) but they move way to fast. Oh, well!

Hot Weather

It has been unseasonably hot here in San Diego. Since we are to cheap to turn the A/C on, we spent a lot of time in water this weekend. On Saturday we went to the Moller's house and swam with them and their little girl, Stasi. On Sunday, Mike went diving with some of his buddies in La Jolla and I sat on the beach and enjoyed the cool weather. This weekend officially felt like summer.

Graduation Party

We went to our niece and nephew's graduation party last weekend at the beach. It was a great time to be outside and hang out with Mike's family. It was so windy that at one point we all looked out at the ocean and saw a guy using a big umbrella to pull himself across the water on his board (picture above). I thought that was creative!

Busy Weekend

This weekend was really busy. We had three of our friends kids staying with us and Mike had a lot of work to do in the yard. We had a great time, but are a little worn out from all of the activity!
