Whidbey Island

Sophia took her first plane ride to go and see all of my family in Washington St. It was such a great time to see all of them and just spend time playing cards, taking naps, picking blackberries, and reconnecting with one another. I can't wait until Sophia is older and really gets to experience and enjoy the beach.

Pool Time

Sophia went in the pool for the first time yesterday. She mostly enjoyed the floaty toys and the movement of the water. Here are some pics our time.

Chatty Sophia

Sophia has become very chatty. She does some noise with her throat constantly and seems to be singing. The video below is what happens during most of her waking hours. She even talks/sings herself to sleep if I put her in her bed while she's happy. What a great kid.

3 Months

Sophia will be 3 months old on the 15th. She is so fun. We love all of her smiles and she really enjoys people. I love how she tries to catch the eye of those walking by. Here are some recent pictures.

I had my 29th birthday on the 1st. I can't believe how fast time has gone by....I'm almost 30. Yipes! Last night I had a dream that I went to the Dr. and he told me that my body is that of a 24 year old. Sounds good to me.

Mike and I got to go on a date to one of our favorite restaurants downtown. We had Spanish food...bacon covered dates, spicy sausages, empanadas, mashed potatoes with cotija cheese. So good!

This past Sunday, Mike's sister made me and our nephew a birthday cake since we both have July birthdays. It had been a while since I had done the whole "candle blowing out thing" and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
